What do I need to wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and athletic shoes (no flip flops, high heels, boots, etc).
Do I need to bring an ID?
YES! You must have a government issued photo ID in order to jump. A driver license or passport work great.
How old do I have to be to skydive?
You must be 18 years of age or older. A parent’s permission is NOT an acceptable alternative. It is worth the wait though!
What if the weather forecast looks bad?
Skydivers are an optimistic people, so we try to not make jumping decisions based on just forecasts. While we don’t jump in rain or through heavy cloud cover, we DO jump on partly cloudy/sunny days which can create some great moments! If you are worried about the weather please give us a call before you head out for your scheduled jump.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, DISCOVER, and American Express).
Can I skydive with my glasses?
Yes you definitely can! We have goggles that will fit over most glasses, though we do recommend bringing your lowest profile pair. There is always the chance you might lose them during the skydive though, so leave the expensive pair at home. If you wear contacts, just let your instructor know so we can ensure a secure goggle fit.
Is there a weight limit?
The limit is 225 lbs in order to make a tandem skydive. This can be waived up to a certain point, but it depends on fitness level. There limits are based on the manufacturer of the equipment and are all safety related. There will also be a small fee paid directly to the instructor if the weight limit is waived.
How long is this going to take?
Your reservation time is set for filling out the appropriate paperwork and should take approximately 20-30 minutes. After that you can expect a wait time that averages around 1-2 hours. We try to minimize this as much as possible but sometimes delays due to weather or aircraft aren’t avoidable. There is then a 20 minute training which is immediately followed by the skydive. You can expect a 15 minute plane ride, 45-60 seconds of freefall, and a 5 minute parachute ride. Overall we find the process takes about 2-4 hours, so plan accordingly!
